What These Retreats Are
My retreats are small by design, built for practitioners ready to go deeper than a weekly class allows—weaving asana, breath, Vedic wisdom, yoga philosophy, and storytelling into an immersive container, alongside a small community of fellow seekers.
This isn't a beach vacation with a yoga class attached. It's where your practice and your understanding grow together.
I write about the retreats themselves on my Substack publication The Embodied Journey — the themes we explore, what a day actually looks like, and honest recaps once we're back home. It's the best way to get a real feel for a retreat before you commit, and where new dates and themes get announced first.
Who are these retreats for?
Practitioners who've been doing yoga for a while and are ready for more than a physical practice. You don't need to be flexible or advanced; you need to be curious about what's underneath the postures. These retreats stay small and curated on purpose — you'll never be one of forty people in a yoga barn.
Do I need experience with meditation or philosophy?
No prior study required, just genuine curiosity and an open mind.
What's included?
This varies by retreat, and the specifics are always on that retreat's page — but generally, expect lodging, daily practice, most meals, and excursions or workshops built around that retreat's theme.
I don't know anyone else going. Can I come alone?
Yes — most people do. These retreats draw independent, self-directed practitioners, and solo is the norm, not the exception. By the second day, you're practicing, eating, and talking with the same small group daily — that's usually all it takes for real connections to form.
What's your cancellation and payment policy?
